About Abilene Sports Authority
AYSA is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that offers opportunities for participants to develop as an athlete and individual. Our mission is to provide a safe and encouraging atmosphere for students to compete, build relationships, and create lifetime memories while developing their skills, character and confidence.
WE ARE EXPANDING OUTSIDE!! Fundraising has already started for the field expansion as we are looking to break ground August 2023.
The Dodge Jones Youth Sports Center is an indoor sports facility with 8 regulation volleyball courts, 4 regulation basketball courts, and 8 youth basketball courts. AYSA currently serves over 6,000 athletes per year through camps, leagues, and tournaments.
What’s next for AYSA?
Coming 2024, AYSA will be adding turf and grass fields behind the Dodge Jones Youth Sports Center. There is a growing need for flat fields in the Big Country and we are excited to be providing the opportunity to compete in soccer, flag football, grass volleyball, and much more!
